Dari Jementah ke Melaka

1. Cuti dua minggu digunakan untuk menanda tiga ratus lebih set kertas peperiksaan pertengahan tahun yang berlalu sebelum cuti bermula hari itu.
2. Setelah penat menanda dan membuat kerja-kerja terjemahan yang ditempah oleh klien, dapat juga berjalan-jalan dengan keluarga tercinta ke Melaka.
3. Seronok walaupun penat, namun masa yang berkualiti itu sungguh priceless. Berikut adalah beberapa gambar haiwan yang dilihat di Taman Rama-Rama dan Reptilia juga Taman Buaya Melaka. Subhanallah!

Serangga Apakah?

1. Pagi tadi saya menangkap gambar untuk memenuhi masa senggang. Saya tidak tahu apakah jenis serangga yang saya lihat 'bertenggek' di celah-celah pokok bunga matahari yang mama saya tanam.
2. Ini adalah imej serangga tersebut.
   
   
3. Kemudian saya pergi ke kedai sebentar, tak sampai sepuluh minit saya keluar. Apabila sampai ke rumah lantas saya pun mengambil kamera semula untuk menyambung aktiviti menangkap gambar tadi. Namun salah satu daripada serangga itu sudah bertukar kepada ini. Wallah! Kulitnya sudah terkupas!
   
   
   
   
4. Sesungguhnya ciptaan ALLAH SWT sangat unik dan pelbagai, sampai kita mati nanti pun masih ada saja makhluk ciptaan ALLAH SWT (dalam konteks binatang) yang kita tak pernah lihat, bukan?

Photography 101: Missions! Get better using themes!

One tip that I learned to train yourself to be a good photographer is to do missions. Equip yourselves with a specific task - capturing images that has limitations. Limit your images to certain themes or concepts such as 'Cats', 'Green' or 'Light'; and let you and your lenses explore the concepts using your creative juice. For example, now I am on a mission to capture images of 'Still Life with Skies' and here are some of the images. Explore new themes as you move on. And most importantly, enjoy! (>o<)///

Dave Hill's Effect and Story Behind an Image

I've been trying a few methods to gain a Dave Hill's effect on my portraits, and this one by far is my favourite method that I found. However, the photo that I used above to be applied with such effect was not good enough because of the absence of appropriate depth. I will try to apply the effect on better photo that has greater depth next time, insha ALLAH.




This photo above was not applied with the Dave Hill's effect. But I was fascinated with this image as (I thought) I managed to create a story or a situation that is related to the tittle that I gave to the image.

p.s: the portrait was me and my sister during the Idulfitri recently.

Been busy! But still got time to snap photos??

It's been quite a while since I last updated my blog, so this post is merely an act to clean the dusty blog of mine. :) Up here you can see my tabung, empty one! Anyone care to fill it up? And below is also the same tabung but in a light-painting mode. Not a good light-painting as it was just a trial. I will come up with better light painting photos and video later.





Yeah I've been busy at school with my internship and my research, but I managed to find some time to do some shooting and I will post them up soon.

Peperiksaan baru sahaja berakhir. Banyak hal yang berlaku sekitar hujung semester tujuh ni mengakibatkan aktiviti mengemaskini blog ni tertangguh. :)
Namun di celah-celah waktu tersebut dapat juga saya melakukan aktiviti yang saya gemari seperti mengambil foto, video, melukis (nak jadi cikgu seni ke cikgu math ek?) dan lain-lain lagilah. Saya juga sebenarnya mengumpulkan material yang boleh saya kongsi berkenaan illuminati, freemasonry, 2012, dan segala-gala berkenaan agenda dajjal laknatullah dan para pengikutnya ni. Jadi insyaALLAH saya akan berkongsi sedikit demi sedikit dapatan saya di bawah label berkenaan kelak. Oh ya, dalam foto di atas, sebenarnya tajuk single terbaru kumpulan Muse. Kumpulan ini membawa genre alternative rock, concerto classical rock dan macam-macam lagilah genre yang dilabelkan pada mereka. Namun yang menarik hati saya adalah liriknya yang terkadang puitis, dan mereka memperjuangkan agenda anti-illuminati dan anti-NWO melalui lagu-lagu mereka.

Hari Ibu: Bolehkah?

Selamat Hari Ibu! Hari Ibu disambut di Malaysia pada hari Ahad kedua setiap bulan Mei maka pada tahun ini hari tersebut akan jatuh pada 9 Mei 2010. Tetapi apakah sebenarnya hukum menyambut Hari Ibu ni? Siapa yang memulakannya? Mengapa? Ada pendapat mengatakan bahawa sambutan ini berasal daripada adat orang Greek yang meraikan Cybele iaitu ibu kepada segala dewa Greek.{Ensiklopedia Britannica|(1959)} (Ada quotation lagi sebab takut dituduh cakap ikut sedap tanpa sumber rujukan.)

Ada banyak lagi pendapat yang lain, tetapi semuanya bukan menunjukkan bahawa sambutan ini diasalkan oleh orang Islam masa lalu. Namun sambutan ini tetap juga diadakan di negara-negara seluruh dunia termasuk negara yang majoritinya penduduk Muslim dan Muslimah. Jadi apakah boleh kita turut meraikannya seperti orang bukan Islam yang lain?

Kita semua tahu bahawa jasa Ibu itu sangat luas seperti lautan yang tiada bertepi, maka seharusnya peringatan terhadap jasa seorang ibu sudah pastilah tidak mencukupi untuk satu hari sahaja dalam setahun. Bahkan sepanjang masa kita harus mentaatinya dalam segala hal tidak mengira tempat selagi hal tersebut tidak bercanggah daripada syariat ALLAH SWT, bukan?

Tak kira masa, setiap hari jasa ibu tak pernah padam, tak pernah berkurang bahkan hanya bertambah kasih dan sayangnya kepada kita. Sayangilah ibu tanpa terpengaruh dengan unsur-unsur halus bukan Islam, tanpa mengira Ahad kedua dan sebagainya, kerana kita tetap membawa pusat di perut kita yang menjadi tanda kita dikandung olehnya.

Gambar di atas diambil di kampung saya di Johor dan merupakan salah satu bunga yang mama saya jaga. :)

Ok, I shot both of these photographs in different places, different days (of course lah) and I only get the chance to post them now. The dragonfly photo was captured I think last month and the banana leaf was last week. The dragonfly one was at the Darulaman Lake while the banana leaf... just in front of my house. :)

I am trying all sort of photographing technique but the one that my camera can afford me best I think is macro. Even though the photos were not so macro lah! Because the d.o.f that it can provide in my shots is not as good as an SLR and the zooming is not like you are using a telephoto. But I am thankful for what I have and I am learning to manipulate the variables when composing shots to show the beauty of Allah's creations. Thank you. Wahhhh!!!!

The Puncak Janing Waterfall

It has been quite a busy month for me, this is why I failed to update my blog even though I have quite a number of entries and photographs queuing to be posted here. However, in the middle of the busyness, I managed to steal some time and join my fellow friends to the Puncak Janing waterfall which is a very relaxing place to unwind weary minds of us.
